Dr. Norman Guinasso, Director; Research Scientist and Adjunct Professor, Department of Oceanography Ocean Sciences (OS) carries out a wide variety of oceanographic projects in the fields of physical, biological, and geological oceanography. OS has sea-going expertise using research vessels on the sea; research submersibles under the sea; and instrumented ocean observing buoys, moorings, bottom mounted instruments, and deep-sea digital cameras.
