| We have had a fair amount of snow lately, another 5 inches last night. Conditions yesterday were 2 with Steve and Diana running into white out while setting location for the transects E and F out by the jetty and around towards Armatidge Point. We have completed transects D (at the outfall) and C (over towards WQB). Starting Transect A at the head of WQB off the Ice pier. After going over the map and due to time restraints, B will be skipped for now and if it can be gotten, it will be done last. It lies real close to A. The divers are also taking photgraphs at the bottom of the marine sites. Will send photos when they become available. Tomorrow will do the hydrocasts for Transect A. Not many flights from Christchurch lately. Hopefully one will come in today. Word is that there is a backlog going in both directions, so priorities are being set on personell. G.Denoux |
