GYRE arrived on Station W4 at 9:48 GMT on May 15, 2000 and finished all sampling at 19:52 GMT on May 15, 2000. This station is located on a retired dumping site for organochloride waste and is at a depth of 1460 m. The underwater digital camera was deployed but all of the photos it took were black. The trawl was under repair and could not be used at this station.
