GYRE arrived on Station NB4 at 6:03 GMT on May 11, 2000 and finished all sampling at 22:29 GMT on May 11, 2000. Station NB4 was located at the depth of 2050m and is a non-basin site. The seas were rougher today but we have been enjoying blue skies throughout the cruise. We deployed the 12 bottle rosette twice to retrieve 24 water samples. The catch from the trawl consisted only of invertebrates but we did have two flying fish jump on board.
