Gyre arrived on Station RW4 at 13:20 on May 21, 2000 and we finished all sampling at 22:45 GMT on May 21, 2000. This station is 1570 m in depth. The pinger relates depth information to the line scan recorder so that we can "bounce" the underwater digital camera and take pictures at intervals as the ship drifts around the station.
